This show, Garden of Reclaimed Things, features my mixed‑media art of transforming discarded everyday objects—wires, charging cords, plastic bread tabs, mylar balloons, aluminum cans—into vibrant, textured and layered canvases. By reshaping these remnants of modern life into organic forms, I explore the tension between what we consume and what we cherish. Each piece becomes a small act of reclamation, proving that even the most overlooked materials can be reborn as an expressive organic scene of our landscape. The show will be at @bernicekishgallery at Slayton House Columbia, MD March 27 - April 27, 2026 Reception: Saturday, March 28, 3-5pm Artist Talk: Saturday, April 11, 3-5
