Howard County’s annual Yom HaShoah Service (Holocaust Remembrance Day) will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026

We are seeking Holocaust artifacts and memorabilia from area residents such as photographs, documents, clothing, mementos, and other items. Artifacts will be displayed at the in-person service and on the Yom HaShoah website virtual gallery. People wishing to display artifacts may email remembrance@jewishhoco.org.

Additionally, the Committee updates its Book of Remembrance each year. Area residents wishing to provide names of family members or loved ones murdered during the Holocaust or who survived the Holocaust but have since passed away, may email remembrance@jewishhoco.org. All names will be included in the Book of Remembrance displayed at the Yom HaShoah service.

  The Howard County Holocaust Remembrance Committee was established in the mid-1980’s and is comprised of 25 volunteers representing towns and synagogues across Howard County.
