Columbia Concert Band

is bringing movie music, marches, medleys and more to the CA Lakefront . All concerts begin at 7:30pm. Come for the music, stay for the community.

ABOUT COLUMBIA CONCERT BAND: The Columbia Concert Band is a group of approximately 90 local musicians who are proud to call Columbia their home. These locals rehearse weekly and perform a handful of concerts per year. This season, the community will enjoy a variety of different musical styles, including traditional band arrangements, classical, contemporary, pop/rock, marches, jazz, Broadway, Americana and baroque. Founded in 1983 , the Columbia Concert Band provides local musicians with the opportunity to perform challenging band literature while entertaining the public in the Baltimore and Washington region. The band is also affiliated with Howard Community College, which gives credit to students for band participation each year.
