Maryland MEP, in partnership with the Maryland Department of Commerce, will host a webinar on July 14th to discuss the upcoming new round of funding for the Maryland Manufacturing 4.0 Grant Program. The grant program provides grants to small and mid-sized Maryland manufacturers to invest in Industry 4.0-related technologies, machinery and robotics, and digital business practices to remain competitive and drive growth.

                        Maryland MEP, in partnership with the Maryland Department of Commerce, will host a webinar on July 14th to discuss the upcoming new round of funding for the Maryland Manufacturing 4.0 Grant Program. The grant program provides grants to small and mid-sized Maryland manufacturers to invest in Industry 4.0-related technologies, machinery and robotics, and digital business practices to remain competitive and drive growth.                       





















                        In continued support of this program, Maryland MEP will assist the manufacturing community through the application process, as well as help answer any questions related to the grant.                      





















                        Awarded grants will cover 75% of project costs for small manufacturers and 50% of project costs for mid-sized manufacturers with 51-250 employees, with a minimum grant of $25,000 and a maximum grant of $500,000. Projects must clearly demonstrate a tie to Industry 4.0, and a long-term strategy for Industry 4.0 adoption.

                        Big Data & AnalyticsRobots and autonomous equipmentImplementation of Industrial Internet of Things technologiesAdoption of additive manufacturing                       















                        Systems integration projectsVirtual and Augmented RealityEmployee training and/or consulting costs associated with the implementation of the new systems/technologies/equipment                     





























                        The previous round of funding provided 23 businesses with a totalof nearly $1 million to modernize their operations!

                        During this webinar, Ben McGlaughlin, Manufacturing Program Manager at the Maryland Department of Commerce, will provide an overview of the updated program, eligibility requirements, and changes made from the previous rounds of funding. Additionally, Mike Kelleher, Executive Director of the Maryland MEP will provide further insights and answer questions.
